1, the universal shaft can transmit torque and rotation Angle while absorbing the safety deviation of the shaft, when the installation deviation exceeds the allowable value may produce vibration or lead to the shortening of the life of the universal shaft, so ensure that the adjustment of the deviation is appropriate.
2, the deviation is not only in the equipment assembly, the vibration, thermal expansion, bearing wear and so on during the working process will cause the deviation, so it is recommended to adjust the axial deviation to less than 1/3 of the maximum value.
3. There are three kinds of axial deviation: radial deviation, angular deviation and axial deviation. Please adjust the deviation below the allowable values listed in each product specification sheet.
4. The maximum allowable value of deviation listed in each product refers to the case where only one deviation exists, when more than two deviations exist at the same time, the allowable value should be lower than 1/2 of the maximum deviation in each specification table.
The plum shaped elastic parts are generally made of polyester polyurethane (hardness code a) or cast nylon (hardness code b), and the carrying capacity of the former is generally lower than that of the latter. The connection material of the semi-coupling and flange is generally 45 steel or ZG70-500, and the phenolic resin is often used to make a semi-cardan shaft in the chemical industry in order to prevent corrosion.
