(1) Before installation, check whether the two shafts of the prime mover and the working machine are concentric, whether there are wrapping paper and bruises on the surface of the two shafts, whether there are debris in the inner hole of the two half couplings of the plum type coupling, and whether there are bruises on the edge of the inner hole; If any, the shaft and half coupling should be cleaned up, and the injury should be dealt with with a fine file. Then check whether the diameter and length of the inner hole of the two half couplings are consistent with the diameter of the prime mover, the working machine and the shaft extension length. (2) In order to facilitate installation, it is better to put 2 half couplings in the incubator of 120 to 150 for preheating, so that the size of the inner hole increases and it is easy to install. Detect the distance between the two half coupling: along the flange of the half coupling two inner measured 3~4 points to take the average reading, and the extended section and two diaphragm group measured size sum, both errors should be controlled within 0~0.4mm.

(3) alignment: the dial indicator is used to detect the cross section of the two half coupling flange and the outboard runout, when the flange outer circle is less than 250mm, the runout value should not be greater than 0.O5mm; When the flange outer circle is greater than 250mm, the runout value should not be greater than 0.08mm.
